First-Aid Kit Distribution

In August, we distributed first-aid kits supplied with antiseptic gel, plasters, a bottle of iodine, soframycin skin cream and Ayurvedic stomach syrup (Kutajarishta). This project was sponsored by Mr. Avinash who wanted to celebrate his birthday in July with an act of charity. The first-aid kits were given to five ZP schools in Mahim. 

Mahim Aboli Foundation (MAF) aims to address issues within these schools that may not necessarily be obvious to the casual observer. The teachers of these schools had informed us of the students experiencing many injuries at school while playing during recess. Stomachaches were also cited as a common occurrence. Thus, we decided it would be useful to address this by supplying the schools with a basic first-aid kit.
